The sailors in Zadar are having to cope with the searing heat, but for Thakkar and Kc they are used to sailing in hot conditions, Thakkar said, "It is really good. It is amazing. It is really hot though but we are used to it. I like it." And Kc added, "It is a really fun event. The atmosphere is good. It is pretty hot but we are used to the heat so it is all well and I am excited to see it all happening."
Compared to some of the other 29er teams currently in Zadar the Indian boys are relatively inexperienced but will learn from the event nonetheless, "We've just come here for experience," said Kc, "And to learn what it is like to sail with the most experienced sailors in the fleet and learn from it for the future and to do better."
